I was directly in charge of all audio production for Catastrophe. My goal was to create sounds and music that reflected the cute cartoon mischief that may ensue when a bunch of cats get together. Everything was recorded, mixed and mastered in Ableton 10. The video above showcases all audio found in Catastrophe. 

Designing For HappyFunTimes

The HappyFunTimes system allows one to a over a hundred players connect to a game using their mobile phones. As such our main goal when designing Catastrohpe was to create an simplistic yet engaging experience that would stand true no matter the player count. To achieve this, Catastrophe paired the format of multiplayer battle arenas with cute cartoon mischief. In addition to its quick round time, game play not only maintained player attention, but allowed for new players to quickly drop in and add to the mayhem.
